Our Stories is a podcast of people telling their stories. I believe that everyone has a good story to tell and I want them to be heard. My father-in-law served in Africa in World War II and had many great stories of that time in his life, and of many other great times. I always wanted to record them for my son for when he was old enough to appreciate them. Alas, my father-in-law died before I got around to recordng his stories and now they are left to our imperfect memories.

I do not want to see any more great stories lost.

I will be starting locally, finding people around where I live in Rhode Island who are willing to let me record them. They may be anonymous or not, as they desire. Hopefully, as this grows, people from other places will want their stories told too and we will work to make this happen.

But one step at a time. For now, I am working on the technical logistics and recording the first few episodes and will begin publishing soon (where “soon” is sometime this summer).
